Job Description - Project Manager Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
Project Manager - Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is responsible for the delivery of the following:
• Project Management
o Managing the implementation of Enterprise Content Management System as part of the overall Corporate Management Systems (CMS) Program.
• Procurement
o Confirming the ECM requirements consolidation and confirmation.
o Participating in contract planning, negotiation and implementation planning study for ECM to ensure the delivery of total ECM solution within the CMS program.
• Project Planning
o Managing the detailed ECM project initiation in conjunct ion with the ECM vendor, in line with the overall CMS Program and the Project Office methodologies.
o Managing the detailed ECM project planning in conjunct ion with the ECM vendor, in line with the Project Office project management methodology and planning framework.
• Business Engagement
o Managing the business engagement process for all aspects of the ECM project, from procurement management to completion of the project planning. This includes detailed stakeholder management planning and implementation.
o Overseeing the identification of key business practices and the development of detailed process maps for ECM services that are based on best practice and that will guide the design of the total ECM in context of the CMS program.
• Informatics Advice
o Providing contemporary advice on ECM best practices and solutions and standards to support the effective implementation of the ECM project.
o Providing advice and guidance on the use of integration standards for the evaluation and implementation of the ECM solution in context of the overall CMS program.
• Enterprise Content Management Planning
o Managing the planning of the ECM IT integration with the PSV for hospital operations including:
IT systems design and content
ECM governance
Information and technical standards in relation to ECM
ECM policies and procedures
Provision of recommendations for ECM education requirements for inclusion in the overall ECM education program.
